🔥 Another boiler upgrade completed 🔥

A nice transformation on this one, replacing the existing Worcester boiler with a new Baxi 830 Combi 2.

The old boiler had certainly done its time, and once removed we were able to tidy everything up and make much better use of the available space within the kitchen cupboard.

Works included:

🔧 Removal and disposal of the existing boiler
🔥 Installation of a new Baxi 830 Combi 2
🛡️ New magnetic system filter for ongoing protection
🧲 Existing heating system thoroughly cleaned and treated with inhibitor
🔩 Pipework altered and repiped for a much cleaner installation
💨 New flue installation
💧 Condensate connection correctly installed
⚙️ Boiler fully commissioned, tested and registered
📋 Manufacturer warranty registered on completion

A considerably neater installation, a much more modern and efficient, because the finish matters too.

Swipe through for the before, strip-out and finished result 👉

Nice to be fed and watered through the day as well, top customer 😉

Yesterday’s boiler replacement 🔥🔧

We were called in to replace this very old Worcester heat-only boiler, which had reached the point where it was unsafe to continue using.

The old appliance was removed and the heating system upgraded with a new Baxi 819 heat-only boiler, backed by a 10-year manufacturer’s warranty.

As part of the installation, we also carried out a number of upgrades to bring the system up to a much better standard:

• Baxi 819 heat-only boiler
• 10-year manufacturer’s warranty
• Adey MagnaClean Micro2 magnetic system filter
• New Wilo circulating pump installed in the airing cupboard
• New gas supply run to the boiler
• Condensate pipework replaced and correctly installed due to the existing pipework being incorrectly sized
• Full hot chemical flush of the heating system to remove accumulated sludge and debris
• System treated with corrosion inhibitor on completion
• New carbon monoxide alarm installed to meet the requirements of the rental property
• Boiler fully commissioned, tested and registered on completion

A boiler replacement isn’t just about hanging a new appliance on the wall. Where required, we’ll address the condition of the whole heating system to make sure the new boiler is installed correctly, protected properly and set up to provide reliable heating for years to come.

Another ageing and unsafe installation replaced with a modern, efficient system and a 10-year warranty for complete peace of mind. 🔥

🔥 A serious upgrade on this one over the last couple of days in Eastbourne!

Out with the old open-vented heating and hot water system, including the cylinder, tanks and existing system boiler, and replaced with a new Baxi 424 combination boiler.

A fair amount of work went into this one behind the scenes:

🔧 Old hot water cylinder & tanks removed
🔧 Existing system boiler removed
🔧 Converted to a combination boiler system
🔧 New Baxi 424 combination boiler installed
🔧 Magnetic system filter fitted
🔧 Pipework extensively altered and tidied
🔧 System flushed, treated and commissioned
🔧 Boiler registered with Baxi for warranty

With an older installation like this there’s only so much you can do with the existing services and pipework without rebuilding the entire cupboard, but we’ve managed to massively simplify and tidy what was there, while freeing up a huge amount of space and bringing the heating and hot water system right up to date.

The before and after pictures speak for themselves! 👌🏼🔥
