Meet The Elm | Part of our Signature Collection.

Designed as a generous, year-round garden room, The Elm offers the flexibility to become whatever extra space your home needs, from a spacious office or relaxed lounge to an entertaining space or occasional guest room.

The Elm shown here is 3m × 3m, finished with oak cladding, anthracite grey UPVC sliding doors, side-opening windows and a plastered internal finish.

Behind the exterior is the same considered build quality that runs throughout our Signature Collection, with an insulated timber structure, heating and electrics included as part of the standard specification, and a choice of finishes to make the room your own.

The Elm is available in 3m × 3m, 5m × 3m and 4.5m × 4.5m, with prices starting from £25,430 including VAT.

There’s something about burnt larch.

Dark, textured and full of natural character, burnt larch can completely change the feel of a timber building.

The charring process brings out the grain of the timber, creating a distinctive finish that works particularly well when you want something darker and more architectural, while still retaining the warmth and individuality of real wood.

And that's something we love about working with timber. No two boards are exactly the same. The grain, texture and natural variation all become part of the finished building.

Meet The Birch | Signature Collection

Compact, practical and designed to make everyday life a little easier.

At 2.7m × 2.7m, The Birch is a smart garden office with an attached store room, giving you a dedicated space to work while keeping useful storage neatly incorporated into the same building.

Shown here with Western Red Cedar cladding, anthracite grey uPVC single doors with full-height side windows and a plastered internal finish, The Birch combines a small footprint with the same quality, insulation and attention to detail found throughout our Signature Collection.

The fully timber-framed structure includes insulated floor, walls and roof, with heating and electrics included as part of the standard specification.

And because no two gardens or requirements are quite the same, you can configure The Birch by choosing your preferred doors, cladding and internal finish.
The Birch starts from £18,940 including VAT.

It’s a part of the process customers don’t always get to see, but it’s an important one.

The grain, natural markings and changing tones are all part of what make it such a beautiful material to work with, and one of the reasons timber continues to sit at the heart of what we do at Connection Timber Buildings.

From structural elements to carefully considered finishes and bespoke details, we believe the material should be allowed to bring its own character to a project rather than simply being covered up or treated as an afterthought.

Much of that work begins in our Hampshire workshop, where timber is selected, prepared and worked by hand before making its way into the buildings and spaces we create.

A beautifully considered garden room designed for flexible, year-round use.

At 5m × 3m, The Ash offers a practical footprint that works particularly well as a home office, guest space or garden retreat, with enough room to feel substantial without taking over the garden.

This particular design is shown with Composite Teak cladding, black uPVC French doors with full-height side windows, a plastered internal finish and a triple-glazed rooflight, helping bring natural light right into the centre of the space.

As part of our Signature Collection, The Ash provides a more streamlined route to creating a high-quality timber building, while still giving you the flexibility to choose the size, doors, cladding and internal finish to suit your space and style.

One of the things we’re often asked is where to start.

How much will it cost?
Can it be used comfortably all year round?
Do I need to choose an existing design?
And what actually happens once I enquire?

The answer is that no two projects, or customers, are exactly the same.

At Connection Timber Buildings, we build properly insulated timber spaces designed around how you want to use them, whether that’s a home office, gym, family room, creative space, garden bar or simply somewhere to gain a little more room at home.
And there’s more than one way to get there.

Our Signature Collection gives you a straightforward starting point, with a range of thoughtfully designed garden rooms and pricing available to explore online.

If you need something tailored more specifically to your space, our Bespoke Range gives us greater flexibility to adapt the design around your requirements.

And when the idea calls for something completely individual, our Truly Unique Range starts with your vision and develops from there.

You don’t need to have every detail worked out before getting in touch, either. Tell us what you’re considering, how you’d like to use the space and roughly what you have in mind, and we can help you understand the most suitable route forward.
