Post WW2 the country was in a right mess off the Germans. The country had to build houses, fast! One solution was to build temporary housing out of tin, they were quick and cheap to build. With a 10 year predicted life span, it’s pretty amazing there are still standing! Let’s be honest though, they look terrible and have next to zero insulation compared to current standards.
With 90mm external wall insulation and a splash of render, we got this house looking brand new and hotter than hell🤟🏼
