A look back at my favourite job of last year. There were a few to choose from but this one came out on top for me as I love the curve challenge around the stairs!

I’ve been doing quite a few outside jobs recently and it’s getting to the point where I need to be back inside. If anyone has any hallways or any internal areas that you would like Victorian tiles then please get in touch.

New job underway installing wall tiles in a porch.
Quite a bit of preparation involved :
All plaster removed as the majority sounded hollow when tapped.
Boards adhered and mechanically fixed to one side as one wall was out of level by 25mm from bottom to top.
Loose render removed and replaced

I made up a 45 degree jig to cut the internal mitres on the skirting, embossed and dado tiles.

Looking forward to seeing this one completed, it’s going to be stunning!

Another stunning porch completed.

After some time consuming preparation work, these beautiful handmade ceramic tiles were installed creating a very welcoming entrance to this Victorian terraced property.
My client wanted a mix of reds after viewing various completed porch designs and they’re exceptionally pleased with the result.
The handmade tiles were manufactured by Victorian Ceramics Ltd

Not the normal eye catching Victorian tiling photos but they will be here soon. This part of the work is very important for those beautiful tiles to last a lifetime.
On my initial visit these walls sounded hollow in places so the hollow spots needed to be removed and replaced with new render. One wall was just the lower section and then the paint removed above but the other wall was more troublesome! All of the render had debonded from the bricks so it needed to be completely removed. There was also a section which had been patched in with odd bits of brick and blocks which was mainly held together with expanding foam. All of this was removed and then made secure with new bricks to make it solid. Wall ties and steel mesh was added to make two separate areas of wall join together.
Some areas needed more than 30mm of render so I used .uk A46 first for the deeper areas before applying .uk AM100 render. Now I have perfect solid walls to install beautiful Victorian glazed ceramic tiles supplied by
Wait and see these little beauties 😍
Guess what colour they will be?

I thoroughly enjoyed this installation apart from the extreme weather delaying it by a good couple of weeks but that’s the joys of outside work. ☀️🌧️

Finally got this stunning path over the line after many weeks battling with the extreme weather!
This is a classic 100 design with a 50mm diamond border and 2 lines. The inner line border is bespoke water jet cut 35mm instead of the standard 25mm, as this could then make the diamond border fit perfectly all round! The tiles were supplied by

A new small entrance Hallway completed using a Classic 100 design with 2 line border supplied by
This floor was in poor condition after the removal of the old tiles so it required new concrete leveller to be poured prior to installing the new tiles.

This design works perfectly for this small area and if this is something you would like please get in touch today!
