I cut this as an oak gate post, however I found that the middle had rotted, so I decided to turn it into a lamp! I had some copper from an old water tank lying around, the customer had asked for it to be rustic so I had a brainstorm and this is the result!
The staples at the bottom of the lamp whilst also holding the wood together, definitely add to the rustic look!

Here we have a spice rack I made (unfortunately not the jars, I haven’t quite perfected glass blowing yet!)
I used reclaimed pine for this job, it’s turned out great! These can be made to order if you have preferred jars you’d like to use. For this one I made the drawer at the bottom the same height at the rest of the shelves so there’s the option to have more jars!
