We have been quiet on the socials lately but the pictures speak for themselves as to why!

We are currently involved as part of a larger team installing first fixtures within a large, bespoke new build project located in Worcestershire.

We’ve loved every bit of this job so far and it shows no signs of slowing down!

As seen in the photos, we’ve been involved in all sorts, from shower trays to toilet frames and completing all the heating & domestic hot water pipework in MLCP & copper!

More pictures to follow once things have been boarded, skimmed and tiled!

If you need any plumbing, heating or gas work then don’t hesitate to get in touch via email, calling us or there’s a contact form directly on our website! We also respond to direct messages!

Boiler service? Completed it mate ✅

This Worcester Greenstar combi boiler is now serviced and happily chugging away ready for winter! 🛠️❄️

Here’s a breakdown of what we did;

- Flue gas analysis completed
- Flue integrity check completed
- System filter cleaned out
- Boiler condense cleaned out
- Fan pressure test carried out
- Combustion chamber seal checked
- Boiler drained then expansion vessel recharged - System pressure topped back up to 1.5 bar
- Boiler FSD checked for correct operation
- Flue checked for correct termination/access
- Boiler installation manual service record filled out so customer maintains warranty

And as always we were looked after by the customer as they’d provided a lovely cup of coffee during the work being carried out ☕️

A nice job to finish the week? Yes please! 🛠️

This customer had reported a radiator not getting hot and it was found that the TRV was at fault as the pin had stuck.

After attempting to free the pin to no success, a new valve was fitted once the system had been drained and then tested once everything had been refilled and purged - this bedroom radiator is now nice and toasty ready for winter! ✅

Aaaaand we are back! After a short break, we are back at it helping those experiencing plumbing and heating issues! This time, repairing this Vaillant ecotec plus 937!

Customer had reported their external PRV was running and after running some quick checks, it was confirmed the PRV was letting by due to a faulty expansion vessel - both now changed for new parts!

The boiler pressure had been topped up on completion so they are now able to enjoy the benefits of hot water and heating again ✅

We are glad to have helped this customer get winter ready!

Another customers boiler repaired & back up and running✅

This boiler was experiencing an intermittent lockout fault and having to be reset every other day by the customer.

A new burner seal and full strip service later, it’s all fired up and ready to go for the typical UK winter ahead ❄️

Safe to say this burner seal has had its day…

This is proof that not everything always goes to plan! ❌ 😬

Attended a routine service and this boiler turned out to need much more than just a good clean and bit of TLC !

With the appliance now deemed unsafe due to a faulty heat exchanger gasket as it was clearly spilling, it needed to be isolated from the power, the gas supply capped off to the boiler for safety and a warning notice filled and issued.

Luckily this appliance is room sealed but we are very glad we caught this issue when we did!

A gas tightness test was carried out and thankfully that passed so the customer is still able to use their cooker and gas fire - both purged successfully ✅

We will return with a new boiler burner gasket as soon as we can and hopefully we can get this boiler back up and running again soon! 🫡 🛠️

Will post a reel soon with the moment it was taken apart and the realisation that this boiler seal is knackered sets in!😅
