At Fisher Game Larders, Bay 1 is dedicated to the production of our Hunter range and it's consistently full.

This reflects the positive steps estates, land managers and individuals are taking in their proactive response to their carcasses entering the food chain.

Great to see an ‘Independent Retailing’ feature on the hard work and success of our clients and their team at Goodtrees Farm Butchers in this months Meat Management magazine!

We originally provided them with a 10mtr x 3.3mtr Butchery unit, followed by a Holding Chiller and Freezer extension the year after.

Looking back to last year when we took two bays down to Wiltshire, creating a high-capacity 6mtr x 5mtr Holding Chiller for Deer Box and Warren Broad.

We also designed, manufactured and installed external canopies for the entranceways :
✅ Each with a remote-control hoist
✅ Supporting efficient product flow
✅ Providing hygienic loading and unloading conditions

Works continue on the large 4 bay project currently on the assembly line.

Today we are joined by our trusted electricians, Conor and his team, who are installing first fit electrics throughout the building.

We are also completing stud work, which will be clad on-site by our clients, at their request.

When you're working outside and can appreciate the benefits of having a canopy!

They can be designed and built to any spec, providing an additional undercover area in which to unload and begin the butchery process.

Extra washdown facilities can be fitted for hygiene purposes as well as external rail and hoists to reduce the need for manual handling.

This Venison Processing Unit has received its finishing touches and is due for delivery to a high-profile estate in a couple of weeks.

Designed by our in-house team it features :
🔹In-fur chiller
🔹Finished goods chiller
🔹Multiple access points
🔹Tonon rail system throughout
🔹In-line track scales and hoists
🔹Separate Prep and Processing rooms

With a number of highly bespoke additional features, including a huge 5.8mtr x 3.4mtr undercover area and two Fisher skinning rigs, it will create a working environment suitable for our client’s requirements.

This is an FSA Approved Game Processing Unit, with just over 2000 sq ft of work-space available.
