We are looking for people physically fit, and healthy, with good time keeping and a willing to learn new skills and a positive can do attitude. People interested in a stepping stone towards an electrical career, or someone interested gaining experience with working on roofs. Good pay is offered for the right people.

Where do we think makes the biggest impact vs where actually makes the biggest impact when we are looking to reduce our individual carbon footprints?

We can often miss the big picture because we focus on the little things like plastic straws and food wrappers. Surveys show that when you ask people about the most effective ways to reduce their carbon footprint, they mention things like recycling, energy-efficient lightbulbs and ditching single-use plastic. What they often miss is the big things: installing a heat pump, shifting to a more plant-based diet, reducing food waste, buying clean energy, and driving and flying less.

These are the behaviours that will have the biggest impact in reducing your carbon footprint. It’s not that the smaller stuff doesn’t matter. It’s just that we often justify the big stuff to ourselves because we did the little things.
