Peak Group | Burhouse Bursary Update

We’re proud to support Connie Dwyer through the Burhouse Bursary for the second year running, helping her continue her Taekwondo journey.

Last weekend, Connie travelled to Latvia for the Riga Open, where she put in a fantastic performance to take home silver in the Junior -55kg category. 🥈

After wins against competitors from Finland and Ireland, Connie narrowly missed out on gold in a closely fought final against Lithuania.

The result also moves Connie up to 49th in Europe based on the ranking points she earned.

A fantastic achievement and another important step in Connie’s journey.

Peak Mechanical Services was appointed by a long-standing client to deliver a mechanical services upgrade at Corby Cube, home to North Northamptonshire Council.
The project focused on replacing ageing plant with a modern, more energy-efficient heating system, supporting the building’s long-term sustainability.

Works included:

Removal of existing mechanical plant
Installation of new air source heat pumps
New buffer vessels and hot water heaters

Well… the pressure at RBS HQ is building as we work hard to ensure that all of our Sustainable Farming Incentive applications are ready for the RPA portal opening in September.

Case Study | Lewisham Exchange – Student & Residential Skids

Peak Mechanical Services was appointed by a local contractor, on behalf of E.ON Energy, to design and deliver two prefabricated heat substations for the Lewisham Exchange development.

The substations supply heat from a district heating network to:
758 student rooms
67 affordable homes

Using heat exchangers, the substations transfer energy from the district heating network, providing heating to the properties while maintaining the integrity of the wider network.

Each substation has its own dedicated control system, managing the supply of heat to users while providing protection for the district heating network in the event of equipment malfunction.

Peak Mechanical Services was responsible for the complete design, fabrication and installation of both heat substations serving the student and residential high-rise properties.

Another project showcasing our expertise in delivering efficient, prefabricated heating solutions for large-scale developments.
