After Marie hurt her back moving sheep, she and Ted knew it was time for something smaller and easier to manage. But leaving their family wasn’t part of the plan.

So they moved into Cherry Blossom Lodge in their daughter Tracey’s garden in Chorley - and they've never looked back!

Close enough to pop over for a cuppa, with a front door all of their own 🏡

Mum is home! 🥹🏠

When Andrew decided to have an annexe builtfor his mum, Pauline, it was about so muchmore than creating extra space in the garden.

It was about giving Mum a home of herown, keeping family close and creating aspace where they can enjoy being together while still having their independence 🫶

ICYMI | Ain't no party like an iHus party! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who came along, donated and helped make our Party Night so special at the weekend!

The Bowkers got everyone on their feet, and by the end of the night we had a full dance floor and a conga line snaking through the room 🕺

Every penny raised is going to the wonderful people at Macmillan Cancer Support, helping people living with cancer get the care and support they need.

It goes without saying, but we couldn’t be prouder of our community 🧡

Community is at the heart of everything we do 🍂

The team here at iHus have donated food to Trussell’s Doncaster Foodbank to celebrate the Harvest Festival ☺️

It’s been lovely to see everyone pitch in, and it’s a reminder that the best things happen when people come together to look after one another.

It might be a small gesture, but when lots of people each give a little, it adds up to real support for families who need it most 🫶

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Trussell and its volunteers for their ongoing commitment to ending hunger in our communities. The work you do is truly inspiring 🧡

Today we visited the lovely Fiona at her utterly stunning natural oak annexe! 🏠🌿

Full of character and beautiful little touches, Fiona has truly made the space her own. Nestled in her daughter’s garden, it’s the perfect place for her to enjoy her own independence, while still having family just steps away 🥰

With her chickens to tend to and her lovely garden to enjoy, it really is a beautiful little world of her own 🐔🌸

We think Fiona’s annexe is a wonderful example of how you can create a space that feels completely your own - while keeping the people you love close by 🧡

When dad’s health started to become a worry, Mandy knew they wanted to be closer together 🫶

This beautiful garden annexe means Mandy’s parents are now just a 30-second walk away - close enough for family to pop in, help out and spend more precious time together, but with their own space, independence and front door 🏠

For Mandy and her family, having her parents close by, while still giving them the independence they value, means absolutely everything 🥹

It’s the best of both worlds and, most importantly, it means they can be there for each other when it matters most 🧡
