We had an emergency call out this afternoon to a customer complaining of smoke bellowing into the room and carbon monoxide alarm going off.
Once I had the baffle plates out it was very clear what was causing it with the flue being completely blocked. The Customer had been burning poor quality wood and had also missed a year of having it swept.
After a good power sweep and smoke test I lite the stove for them and got them all cosy
