During the growth of the company the emphasis has been to provide a high level of customer service without compromise. The expansion of the company has been controlled to ensure the directors are involved in the day-to-day running of the business. The three aims of the company remain:
Perform Within Programme, Safely - On-site adherence to client programme/requirements is maintained by a 300 strong, 100% relevant CSCS carded labour force acting inside of a strict internal Health and Safety Policy. Provide High Quality Worksmanship - From specialist brickwork to feature stonework to imported blockwork systems, our on-site performance is guaranteed through the employment of skilled, trade qualified and closely appraised workforce with hundreds of years experience reinforced by our dedication to continual training. Ensure Client Financial Satisfaction - Our pro-active approach pre-contract allows both parties to realise financial implications/savings aiding the commercial teams forecasts throughout the duration of the works and laying footings for a trouble free final account. We take great pride in all aspects of delivering our projects inline with the three objectives and this ethos is instilled in all employees and supply chain members who make up the Phoenix Brickwork (UK) Ltd team.

We’re pleased to have been appointed by valued client Galliford Try to deliver a multi-million-pound package of works as part of the ongoing upgrade of Harrogate Convention Centre.

Phoenix Brickwork, SFS & Drywall will be delivering a comprehensive package across the development, including blockwork, internal partitions, fire encasements, acoustic features, suspended ceilings, insulated soffit upgrades and tape & jointing works.

A key part of the project will be the transformation of Studio Two, which will be reconfigured with soundproof demountable walls to create up to eight breakout rooms, accommodating up to 1,200 delegates.

Once complete, the development will increase the venue’s total breakout capacity to 2,600, supporting Harrogate Convention Centre’s ambition to attract larger, greener events.

We’re proud to be working alongside Galliford Try once again and look forward to seeing this exciting project take shape.

In construction, strong foundations are essential — but so are strong teams.

This World Mental Health Day, we’re reminding of the importance of looking out for one another, checking in with colleagues and creating an environment where people feel comfortable speaking up when they need support.

Because building a stronger team starts with looking after the people behind the work.

Let’s keep the conversation going.

On Saturday, 5 September, members of the Phoenix team enjoyed a fantastic day out on the Dovedale to Milldale Circular Walk near Ashbourne in the Peak District.

The 12km (7.5-mile) route, with an elevation of 272m, provided the perfect opportunity to get outdoors, enjoy the beautiful scenery and, most importantly, spend quality time together as a team.

As tradition would have it, the day was rounded off with a well-earned visit to a nearby pub for some food and refreshments.

A fantastic day spent with a great team – looking forward to the next one!
