When your new HQ is in a no‑drone zone because you’re neighbours with East Midlands Airport in Castle Donington… but marketing says, “We’ll sort it!”

Big thanks to TUI for getting our Head of Marketing up in the air - all the way to Crete - to grab the shots we couldn’t ordinarily. (Okay… it was her holiday, but still.) ✈️🏖️

We love the aerial, and it’s already earmarked for pride of place in our new reception area!

A Reclamation Story 🌱🦺✏️

Our site team in Leicestershire have been making fantastic progress on the demolition works at Peggs Close - but the impact of their work hasn’t stopped there.

Following an opportunity to support Little Acorns Forest Schools Ltd , salvaged materials from the project have been given a second life, helping to create a brand-new mud kitchen and sheltered seating area for children to use and enjoy.

💬 As Dave Churchwood, Director at Little Acorns Forest School Ltd, shared: “It was a great stroke of luck speaking to Paddy originally”

Thanks to Paddy and the team, materials including timber, sinks, and drainage pipes have been reclaimed and reused to build a space that promotes outdoor learning, creativity, and play.

This is a brilliant example of how reusing and repurposing materials not only reduces waste but also makes a real, lasting difference in the community.

A huge well done to our site team, and everyone involved, for going the extra mile – turning demolition into opportunity and helping build something meaningful for the next generation 👏

🚧 Enabling Site Redevelopment | Limewood, Leeds

Works are progressing well at Limewood, Leeds, where we’re delivering the demolition of a large former utilities site on behalf of AtkinsRéalis for nPower.

This multi‑stage project highlights our experience and capability in managing complex utilities demolition, combining careful planning, technical expertise and tight control to enable future redevelopment. The works include licensed asbestos removal, strip out and demolition activities, alongside managed retention and treatment of below‑ground structures.

A strong focus on efficiency and sustainability is embedded throughout the project, with demolition materials being crushed on site and reused where possible, reducing waste and supporting responsible construction practices.

Another example of how our teams deliver confidence, precision and progress on challenging sites!

Major Healthcare Redevelopment | University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust 🏥

We’re pleased to share that we’ve recently completed demolition works at Queen’s Hospital, Burton, delivering a major package of regeneration works on behalf of Galliford Try as part of the ongoing Outwoods redevelopment project.

The scope included the demolition of multiple redundant structures across a live hospital environment, including the former Geoffrey Hodges Wing, boiler houses, garages, tanks, workshops, plant rooms and associated buildings. A key milestone was the safe and planned high‑reach demolition of a 28‑metre chimney stack, marking a significant step forward in preparing the site for future development.

All demolition arisings are being processed and crushed on site to 6F2 specification, supporting material reuse and helping to reduce vehicle movements and environmental impact ♻️.

Delivering works within a live healthcare setting requires careful planning and coordination. This project further demonstrates our ability to carry out complex demolition safely and efficiently, while minimising disruption to essential hospital operations.

A great team effort and an important contribution to the next phase of development at Queen’s Hospital!

Supporting Two Incredible Charity Challenges – 27th June 💙

We’re delighted to share that two of our colleagues, Paddy and Brennan, will be taking on personal charity challenges on the same day in support of fantastic causes.
