Leather Repair π
Our customer has this beautiful leather chair they didnt want to part with however the hole in the arm needed some attention.
After somebody attempted to patch it up previously, David wanted to replace the whole arm for a better match and overall fix rather than a plaster!
After replacing the leather, it was then important to carefully blend some leather dye colours in to attempt a close match with the rest of the chair.
Over time, all fabrics and leather lose colouring and wear due to usage, sunlight exposure, spills - even natural oils off your body can affect this over time so when replacing one section of fabric, you can never 100% guarantee a perfect match but you can get it as close to as possible.
Just another example of how fixing rather than throwing is much better for the environment but also your bank account!
