New Build Garden Transformation – Premium Porcelain Patio & Raised Planters

A complete new-build garden transformation designed to maximise outdoor living space while creating a clean, modern, and practical finish.

Starting with a blank canvas, we carefully set out and excavated the garden before installing a high-quality sub-base and drainage system. The centrepiece of the project is a stunning Creek Wave Nero porcelain patio, providing a sleek contemporary appearance with the durability and low maintenance benefits that porcelain is renowned for.

To ensure effective surface water management, we installed ACO Slimline drainage channels along the patio edge, seamlessly integrating drainage into the design while maintaining crisp, clean lines throughout.

The project also included the construction of substantial timber raised planters, creating defined planting areas and adding depth and structure to the garden. Decorative stone borders and carefully prepared planting beds complete the layout, providing a perfect balance between hard and soft landscaping.

Polycrub Installation – Complete Transformation

Another successful polycrub installation completed in Ballater by Paul Stephen Landscapes.

This project began with a full site clearance and excavation, carefully preparing and levelling the ground to create a solid foundation. Using laser levels for accuracy, the area was graded and prepared before constructing and installing this high-quality polycrub.

The finished structure provides a durable, weather-resistant growing space that is perfect for the Scottish climate. Designed to maximise growing seasons and protect plants from harsh weather conditions, the polycrub offers excellent light transmission, strength, and longevity.

🌿 Garden Transformation Complete 🌿

A recent project we completed transforming this garden into a beautiful and functional outdoor space, “one we’re really proud of”!!!

The design brings together natural materials and practical landscaping to create an area the clients can enjoy year round.

Key features include:

• Large granite patio and pathways creating a clean, durable outdoor living space

• A bespoke Douglas fir timber structure, designed and built by us, forming the focal point of the garden seating area

• A custom shed build finished to complement the existing buildings

• A new orchard planter area with raised beds, ready for growing and seasonal planting

• Feature seating and firepit area finished with natural stone and red aggregate

• Garden lighting installed throughout the space to create atmosphere in the evenings, completed with our trusted friends at S.B Electrical

Using high quality materials like Douglas fir and natural granite, the aim was to create something that feels both modern and timeless while sitting naturally within the surrounding landscape.
