Replacement grilles at our most recent project*.
The existing 50% free area grilles have only three core sprung construction, allowing for a large amount of movement on a grille that is over 500mm wide and even in top condition would allow stiletto heels through. Not best practice at fire exits.
The Perimeter Heating Company replacement grilles were predominantly 50% free area. However, with concerns for safety, we provided 30% free area sections at the fire exits. The 3mm spacing makes them a true stiletto proof grille and with solid 6 core construction at 100mm centres, there's no movement to allow ingress of heels.
TPHC high spec. 22mm high ‘T’ profile grilles fitted perfectly. Made from T6 aluminium and anodised to AA15 they are suitable for heavy interior and mild exterior use.
