Another Little Cotton Farm patio overhauled last week. I think we are on number 6 or so by now 🤔. On this one the landing for the back garage door was in the wrong place and the original slabs weren't even stuck down - Just placed loosely on an uneven bed of concrete. At least they were easy to lift them up and get them gone 😅 Now the patio is finished with stylish sandstone slabs at a much more usable size of 5.4m x 3.6m and the next job will be to install a large Pergolux pergola!

A few more jobs got finished up today - 2 TGV doors and a slatted garden gate. The old rotten ones got added to the ever growing waste pile to be disposed of once we've finished up a few more bits and bobs.

Working through a long list of jobs at this peaceful little property just outside Dartmouth. Today was about finishing off this small fence with decorative lattice panels and a custom gate to renew the rickety and rotten old ones that were there before.

We've been working with this customer on a full renovation over the last year or so and going 1 room at a time through the house to achieve a high end finish.

This bathroom called for a full strip out including the floor joists and supporting block work to establish a solid and level base. The walls were tanked, battened, insulated and boarded and now have custom recesses behind the bath, in the shower and a recessed cabinet above the sink. We fitted a new lvt floor, tiled the shower, installed a recessed tray and shower screens. Skirting, architraves and decorating finished the job off nicely and now the room is almost unrecognisable!

Another small job ticked off the list to revamp this little summerhouse veranda in solid composite planks.

It was a boiling couple of days. But the sea view kept me going 🌊

A small but satisfying little job finished up to install a dainty fan shaped sandstone patio in an unused corner of this new build garden.

We had saved some turf to infill where the lawn was cut back, but it got thrown away when we weren't looking 😑 I'm hoping the customer decides to roll with it and put in some small flower borders to frame the front edge. If not, a bit of seed should have the grass regrowing in no time.

Either way you can tell the customer is excited to use the patio as they rushed straight out to buy their garden furniture :)

What a mental couple of weeks transforming this area from unsightly and overgrown to a tidy and functional space with 2 small decks, a venetian fence and large set of concrete block steps.

Now to down tools for 10 days away in the sun (as if we aren't already sunburnt enough) 😂

Now taking bookings for mid July onwards
