For some reason, I have had a lot of TRV problems lately. A lot of the time the pin under the head is just stuck. If this happens to you, it's an easy fix, and this video explains it nicely:

It's starting to get a bit cold out there. Don't forget, a common problem this time of year is a frozen condense pipe, which is an easy DIY fix.

Out with the old, in with the new!
This back boiler had given over 35 years of service before finally giving up and failing in a pretty spectacular way. (Get your boiler checked regularly folks).
In goes a new Ideal Vogue with the super user friendly halo control. Top of the line, will save on bills, and comes with a ten year guarantee. What's not to like?!

This weeks large job:
Old ideal classic out, Logic combi max II in.
Relocated from the garage to the loft, system converted and repiped to allow for upcoming building works.
All controlled by the Halo Smart system- a personal favourite!

New worcester 1000 boiler with worcester smart controls, installed today.
It's a first for me as they were only released last week, but its a great system- easy to fit and operate!
Hopefully get a chance to install a few more of these 😊
