Thank you to everyone who has followed Neuk Architecture and wished me well. It has been lovely to receive so much support so quickly.
Here is a small project I completed after moving into our house, a shared workspace for Neuk Architecture and my wife’s business,
The room needed to provide plenty of space for storing our books and displaying the things we have collected or, as my wife describes my collection, my many architecture “picture books”, while also working as a comfortable home office for two.
It also needed to adapt easily into a guest bedroom as and when required. I designed and built the bespoke plywood joinery so that the worktop can hinge down and fold neatly away, while the drawer units can be stored within the bookshelves. This leaves enough space for the sofa bed to open into a double bed.
A practical, flexible room designed to make the most of a relatively small space.
