✨ A NEW CHAPTER FOR DRAW PLAN ✨

We’re excited to finally reveal our newly renovated architectural studio! 🙌

As architects, we spend our days designing and transforming spaces for our clients, so it was only right that we gave our own workspace the same attention to detail.

From the striking exterior with our new Draw Plan signage and zinc cladding to the bright, contemporary interiors, every element has been carefully considered to create a space that reflects who we are and what we do.

Clean lines, modern finishes, thoughtful lighting and a welcoming meeting space - a studio designed to inspire creativity, collaboration and great architecture.

We’re incredibly proud of the transformation and excited about what the future holds for Draw Plan.

Thinking about your own transformation? Whether it’s a home extension, a new build or a commercial development, we’d love to help bring your ideas to life.

If you could take one idea from this video and use it in your own home, what would it be? 👇

More natural light? A dramatic gable? A seamless connection to the garden? Or a completely new home designed around the way you live?

Every project begins with a different property, brief and ambition. That’s why, at Draw Plan, we don’t start with a standard solution—we start with you.

Which design made you stop scrolling?

The biggest extension mistake? Starting with size.

Most extension briefs begin with a dimension:

“We want to go out 3 metres.”
“Can we extend 4 metres?”
“What’s the maximum planning will allow?”

But size is only one input. A large extension can still leave you with a dark room in the middle of the house, awkward routes through the kitchen and expensive space that adds little to daily life.
Before deciding how far to build, test three routes:

1. Rework the existing footprint.
2. Add a compact extension that solves the key problems.
3. Compare it with the maximum sensible extension.

Judge each option on daylight, flow, storage and likely cost — not just square metres.

Sometimes the biggest option is the right one. It should be the conclusion, not the assumption.

What is the ONE problem an extension would need to solve in your home?

If you’re planning a project in Cheshire, Warrington or Greater Manchester, DM us the word PLAN with your postcode and one sentence about the problem you want to solve. We’ll tell you the most sensible first step.

Save this for later and send it to the person you’re planning with.

Designing spaces that make a difference.

Every project begins with a purpose. In this case, the goal was to thoughtfully extend and reimagine an existing building to create a more welcoming, accessible and functional environment.

These visualisations showcase how carefully integrated architecture can enhance the existing character of a building while introducing contemporary spaces that improve the experience for everyone who uses them.

From the choice of materials to the connection between indoor and outdoor spaces, every detail has been designed with longevity, functionality and people in mind.

Great design isn't about changing everything-it's about improving what matters most.

Good design isn't about following trends—it's about creating homes that stand the test of time.

This development has been carefully designed to complement the existing character of the neighbourhood while introducing modern, functional living spaces for future homeowners.

From the carefully considered proportions and bay windows to the choice of materials and overall streetscape, every design decision contributes to a development that feels right at home.

Thoughtful architecture creates better places to live.

In 2022 we kicked off this incredible project, working together with our client to bring a truly unique vision to life. It was a great honour to work on this project and we’re excited to collaborate together on more projects like this in the future. Transforming ordinary properties into inspired spaces is our passion at Draw Plan.

Let’s talk about what’s happening behind that stunning new facade in Leigh.

For this complete remodelling project, our clients wanted to achieve a clean, striking aesthetic with a beautiful off-white render finish and high-contrast black windows. The project comprises a new roof with dormer windows, a single storey rear extension, full internal and external remodelling.

At Draw Plan, we love using these detailed 3D fly-throughs to give our clients absolute design certainty before breaking ground.
