🏡 PROJECT SPOTLIGHT | FOLLY FARM HOLIDAY PARK, BEGELLY 🏡
We’re pleased to share a proposed development at Folly Farm Holiday Park, Pembrokeshire, involving the replacement of an existing dwelling with three new short-term holiday letting units (Use Class C6).
Commissioned by a valued repeat client, the project aims to make more effective use of the existing site, introducing three thoughtfully designed holiday units, each with an easterly-facing orientation, private amenity space and dedicated parking.
Each unit features an open-plan kitchen and living area, two double bedrooms, a wet room and a separate bathroom. A complementary palette of light timber cladding painted render and slate-slip cladding creates a consistent, contemporary appearance across the development.
🌳Biodiversity-led design
Ecological considerations have been central to the proposals. Existing hedgerows will be retained, with new privet hedging introduced between the units to provide additional screening and reinforce the landscape structure. Working alongside a local arboriculturist, we also developed existing and proposed tree constraints plans to help accommodate the scheme while minimising disruption to established trees. 🌳
This project demonstrates how considered design can bring new opportunities to a site while respecting its existing landscape and ecological value.
