Yesterday we took delivery of our brand new edgebander from SCM, this was a huge investment for us as it allows us to now use melamine boards with the ability to colour match the edges.
So what does this mean for Elite Carpentry……. Well it means we can now manufacture bespoke built in furniture in any colour without the need to paint. Kitchens, wardrobes, media walls and anything you can dream off we can manufacture in our workshop.
Our workshop will be up and running in the next few weeks and our order book is filling up thick and fast so if you require anything joinery related please drop me a mail.

As the year draws to a close I want to thank all our clients, suppliers and supporters of the business. This time last year I took the decision to start out on my own and it has really took off, from opening in April started out with a van I bought for £400 (which gave up after a few weeks lol) to now which we have made the decision to open up a workshop in early February.

It was always my goal to have my own workshop so that I could make custom furniture for private and corporate clients alike, however I didn’t think I would need it this quick but here we are.

So I know know some clients have asked “can you make me this?” And most of the time we have been able to do it but it has been hard building cabinets in clients gardens lol……. No longer the case.

We have bought our first panel saw and extractor (adding an edgbander is also in the pipeline) this is a game changer for us as we can now cut sheet materials in a dry environment with ease. We are hoping to add a few more machines in the near future so when someone asks “can you make this?” The answer will be yes.

This is also great for the client as we can now manufacture items off site for cheaper than before, passing the saving onto the client.

New handrails and spindles fitted today for a customer with 2no boxed out newel posts made in 18mm mdf with cappings.

So today is the first official day as a business owner. nothing too special to look at just some enabling works for the plasterer, walls built out to suit the new doors and frames which Elite Carpentry will be starting early next week and then onto the kitchen and utility room. This house was a full strip out and now we are putting it all back together.

This was supposed to be my week off but sure what do you do lol busy busy busy.

Kitchen all finished ready for stone. We have other work to do on this clients home so I will share some images when the floor goes down and the stone goes in. All units are fitted with soft close hinges and drawers with the highest quality cabinets. Really looking forward to seeing this house finished

On site today fitting a large bespoke kitchen with island and tall larder wall. Finished photos to follow
All units hand made with no holes on the inside of the cabinets and 18mm solid back backs, cheaper and better quality than the diy flat packs
