In my post on Tuesday I mentioned coordination with other specialist designers during the technical drawing phase

The truth is well developed technical drawings for exceptional interiors are never created in isolation

On every project, true technical design value comes from close coordination with specialist designers and suppliers whether that be:

- MEP engineers
- audio visual experts
- joinery fabricators
(to name but a few)

Looking back at some of my favourite projects in the 𝗺𝘂𝘀𝗲𝘂𝗺 𝘀𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, I had the privilege a couple years back of developing technical drawings for an interactive table at Showtown Blackpool

Important to producing these fully detailed drawings was working closely with the designers Casson Mann, fit-out contractor & suppliers while incorporating all the interactive details from so that adequate provision was allowed in the fabricated steel and joinery structure for their interactive installations, customer friendly access for maintenance and concealed cable management, all which ensured the construction issue drawings fully aligned with the concept design intent and also ensuring buildability was not compromised
