We are all aware that switching from halogen to LED lamps can save £…….

But there is another if not the most important benefit of LED vs Halgoen lamps this is the heat output. Halogen lamps get red hot enough to burn the skin on your fingers and anything else it’s in contact with. This presents a real fire risk.

But LED lamps just get slightly warm which will reduce the risk of a fire starting from anything combustible touching the lamp to almost zero.
