“Well how bad was it?”

You tell me 🫣

I think we counted 13 hidden junction boxes/joins in ceiling voids, stud walls or plastered into the wall. 4 of which were on the one cable supplying the cooker, I don’t know how it still worked, honestly.

Also a dead bird, unsure how it got in there 🦅

Everything worked, but just imagine you’ve redecorated a room, new kitchen goes in and the cooker stops working, spark cuts a hole in wall to find that mess, then one in the ceiling to find the next mess, then digs into the wall to find the last 2 messes. Nightmare.

House made safe and full rewire carried out. Photos to follow once testing complete tomorrow.

Hey All!

I am running the 2027 London Marathon in aid of Whizz Kidz; a charity which helps young wheelchair users by providing chairs that meet their specific needs and running courses to improve their skills and confidence.

On a personal note, Whizz Kidz made a wonderful difference in my sister-in-law Helen’s life when she was younger - she received a powered wheelchair through them and even got to go on a plane for the first (and only time) to go to Lapland to see Santa - a trip she still talks about today, it meant that much to her.
Whizz Kidz helps young wheelchairs users to live life as independently as possible, and to enjoy all of the opportunities and activities that so many others take for granted.

For the first time ever, Whizz Kidz has had to close their waitlist because the demand for wheelchairs and mobility equipment is so overwhelming - there are currently over 1,000 children waiting on chairs.

I will be running the marathon on Saturday 24th April 2027, and am hoping to raise at least £2000, so all donations would be greatly appreciated. 💰

It doesn’t often go out, but you can guarantee when it does it’s when you’ve put the kids to bed and your just sitting down for the night 🙃🔫

Thankfully I installed a Generator changeover switch and have a small generator (enough to run TV, internet and lights) to keep me and the wife sane 😂
