Nice Friday job.
Called out to a problematic back door - not locking properly.
The cause was a broken 'follower', (the bit the spindle turns).
This happened due to the door being misaligned. Extra stress on the parts every time it's used took its toll.

New multi point lock installed and some alterations to the door meant the house was secure once more.

Late call out this evening to a young chap who's working on the Comrie Croft development. Poor lad managed to lock his keys inside his Transit Van (yes it happens to the best of us).
Now, I'm NOT an auto locksmith but his dinner was trapped inside so I had to help.
With some fancy techniques and a lot of perseverance I managed to gain entry successfully without any damage to the vehicle.
More importantly, dinner was rescued.

Emergency call out to Strath Tay this evening.
Family locked out of their house.

Managed to gain entry fairly quickly.
Had to "pull" the lock as a key was engaged on the inside which meant picking wasn't an option.

Family safe inside and a brand new lock fitted.
