🌱 Turf Supplier Issues Due to the Drought & Heatwave ☀️

We’re currently experiencing some serious turf supply issues due to the ongoing drought and extreme heat. 🥵🌱

Turf growers are struggling with the conditions, which means availability is limited and deliveries are becoming harder to secure.

As a landscaping company, we’re doing everything we can to source quality turf for our customers, but unfortunately some jobs may experience delays or limited availability while conditions remain this difficult.

The slight rain we've had and any that we are due, unfortunately won't rectify supply issues overnight.

We really appreciate everyone’s patience and understanding. ❤️

After all that heat, we’ve got to admit… this cooler weather and rain is actually very welcome! 🙌🌧️

The gardens are getting a much-needed drink, the grass is loving life, and us landscapers can finally work without feeling like we’re melting! 😂🥵➡️🌧️

☔️ DID I DREAM THAT?! 😂

Woke up in the night convinced I could hear rain… 🌧️. Thought I was dreaming 😂

Turns out it actually WAS raining! 🙌

The grass is probably outside doing a little rain dance as we speak! 💃🌱😂

British weather: “Drought declared.”
Also British weather: “Hold my tea… I’ve got an idea.” ☕️🌧️

Anyone else wake up thinking they were dreaming it? 😂👇

Apparently My Brain Didn’t Get The Memo! 😂🌿

Today’s plan: DO ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. 🛋️

Reality:
⌨️ "I'll quickly type this quote up"
⌨️ "I'll quickly update customer receipts"
📧 "I'll send these quick emails"
📞 "I'll quickly make a few supplier calls"
📞 "I'll quickly call the guys"
📞 "I'll quickly help my son-in-law with his business"
👀 “I’ll just check my tools…” 🤦‍♂️😂

Running a landscaping business means having a day off is basically a battle between your body screaming REST and your brain screaming I need to do this 🤣

So today I’m officially putting the tools down…
…probably…
…maybe…
…no promises. 😂

It may have been absolutely roasting out there and the flower bed certainly put up a good fight, but we got the job done! 💦☀️
