It has been quite an emotional one painting my Archie. We lost him 3 years ago now, and I still feel him around some days. Seeing him in my painting made me 🥲. But he was so precious to us. I love colour pencils and watercolour so thought I’d paint him this weekend.

So hard, but think I’ve captured his beautiful soul in a slightly looser style.

Both sold to a lovely lady! Thinking there may be more fish on their way. My new favourite to paint! So happy they will be together! Nobody wants a lonely fish ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Home from a fabulous experience with The Craft and Makers Market at Codsall and Wergs Garden Centre was so lovely as we live just minutes from the centre.

Met lovely people and stallholders. Always really uplifting to see friends and family pop along and also chat with so many visitors about art! I had a bit of a moment when my pink bumblebee was sold. This was the highlighted piece on my stall and went to a lovely lady!

A really successful weekend… very tired, but such a special couple of days! And managed to paint some fish too (my new fave thing to do)

All packed and ready to share my art again with The Craft and Makers Market tomorrow. My second event of the year! It’s been fun putting some new work in my collection… it looks like rain ☔️so a perfect day to get to an undercover craft market! Really excited and ready to go! A mix of originals and prints from originals…

Thank goodness I am married to a man with a van!
