🏗️ Extension Progress Update! 🧱

Another productive week on our latest extension project, with the groundworks now nearly complete! 💪

We’ve got the footings completed and the brick & blockwork brought up to block-and-beam height, along with the installation of a huge 7,500-litre rainwater harvesting tank. 💧

The soakaway is now being backfilled, getting everything ready for the next stage.

Next week we’ll be:
🔨 Installing the block & beam floor
🧱 Setting out and starting the garage brickwork
🏠 Getting everything ready to start bringing the extension out of the ground

Great to see this one taking shape — plenty more progress to come!

Another patio transformation completed in Havant! 🧱✨

This patio has had a full repoint, clean and seal, giving the existing paving a fresh new lease of life. The joints were carefully repointed, the patio thoroughly cleaned, and then sealed to help protect it from the elements and keep it looking fresh for longer.

✨ Kitchen Knockthrough Transformation – Hayling Island ✨

We transformed this home by removing the wall between the existing kitchen and dining room, creating one large, bright, open-plan kitchen diner. ✨ Safer access, built to last. ✨

Another happy customer on Hayling Island! This project was all about making a home safer and more accessible.

The original steps were simply too steep, making them difficult and unsafe to use, especially for the homeowner’s elderly father. We altered the layout by adding two extra steps to reduce the gradient and create a much safer, more comfortable access. We also installed new paving slabs around the steps to give the area a clean, finished look that blends seamlessly with the existing garden.

Sometimes the smallest changes make the biggest difference, and knowing we’ve helped make everyday life that little bit easier is what it’s all about.

Another garage transformation completed by Ground Up Construction Ltd 🔨

This was a classic case of dead space — like most garages nowadays, it was barely being used and just became a dumping ground. Instead, we’ve turned it into a fully insulated, practical living area that actually adds value to the home.

Another tidy job wrapped up this winter by the team at Ground Up Construction Ltd 👊

We completed a full boundary fencing install around this property using 6ft closeboard panels, concrete posts and gravel boards for a strong, long-lasting finish. To the rear, we stepped things up with a 7.5ft fence for that extra bit of privacy and security.

Alongside the fencing, we also carried out some brickwork repairs on the front drive and finished it off with new pier caps to really smarten everything up and tie it all together.

Solid, clean work that not only improves the look of the property but will stand the test of time 💪

6 months into a full property renovation — inside and out — and we’re getting close to the finish line 🔥

Here’s a look at just the back garden transformation so far…

What started as a tired, cluttered space (including a full garage removal) has been completely reworked into a clean, functional outdoor area. We’ve opened everything up, installed a bespoke timber pergola, built raised sleeper borders, and laid a fresh Indian sandstone paving scheme throughout.

The globe water feature adds a sharp, modern focal point and really finishes the space off.

Massive transformation already — and this is only part of the project 👀
