This one was a challenge!
I'm often asked by customers if we can "just panel over what's already there"...
& these pictures show the reason I say no, as your work is only as good as the structure you fix it to.
In this case as I removed the existing tiles, the plaster & bonding behind literally crumbled to pieces on the floor. This is due to the plaster that was used originally (well known for absorbing moisture)... not ideal for a wet area such as a bathroom 💧
We got there in the end though
