Another rewire completed for a returning customer in Dronfield⚡️

We initially completed a kitchen rewire for this customer just before Christmas last year, and along the way we uncovered plenty of nasty surprises. After seeing the condition of the existing wiring, we recommended rewiring the rest of the property.

Fast forward to this week, and the full rewire is now complete in just 3 days! 🔥

The job included:

🔥 Interlinked smoke & CO₂ alarm
💡 Loft lighting
🧱 Chasing & patching up
✅ Fully tested and ready to go

🚧 Phase 1 Complete! ⚡🏡

The first phase of this full rewire is now complete at this stunning 4-bedroom property in Derby! 🙌

This project came with a few challenges. Due to the age and character of the property, the homeowners wanted to preserve the original dado rails and decorative coving, so chasing walls for switch cables wasn’t an option.

💡 Our solution? Quinetic wireless switching!

“What is Quinetic switching?” 🤔

It’s a clever wireless switching system that uses kinetic energy from the press of the switch to send a signal to a receiver wired into the lighting circuit. The receiver is neatly hidden near the consumer unit, meaning no switch cables need to be run throughout the house.

✅ Perfect for period properties.
✅ Minimal disruption.
✅ No damage to original features.

This rewire includes:

We started work last week on this stunning 4-bedroom property in Derby, and it's been great to see the transformation come together.
