Never really had a moan on here. Diverted to a quote in penyfordd last week. Really really busy trying to get home to the kids and have tea. Did the quote, they were happy to go ahead. Message me back every time I message. I give them an actual date and send it over. Messages read, absolutely no reply for days. A total U-turn. Now I don’t mind one bit that I won’t be doing the job as I was trying to squeeze it in for them as a favor due to them having a baby at the end of June and the floor looked pretty bad and I need of prep BUT! I spend my time, fuel, more time messaging, gave them all the advice on the floor and how I’m going to do it as they were asking 🤔 loads of questions to the point it was too many. Do me a favour and stop wasting my time PLEASE. I’m nice enough to do all that for free. At least message back when I’ve given you a date. If it’s a “sorry we need it doing sooner” that’s fine. A respectful reply after all the messages and journeys to your house. It’s not the first time and won’t be the last but I’m up against things myself this last month where I can’t even spare a minute. All you have to do is communicate and I’m absolutely golden. Really rude to read a txt message and not reply. I’ve just given you free advice and a free quote. No wonder the customer has disappearing messages on WhatsApp.

So, I do free quotes no problems at all. I’ll travel knowing it’s not a dead certainty but please, be respectful and communicate with traders that come to your house in their own time for free.
