This wisteria looked completely bare after its winter prune, but underneath was a strong framework ready to put on a proper spring display.

Spring is showing off in one of our Chepstow Gardens clients’ gardens 🌼

These incredible drifts of daffodils appear every year and never fail to stop people in their tracks. They’re not my planting; Credit goes to the customer who had the vision to put them in years ago. Looking after gardens like this and seeing them come back to life each spring is one of the best parts of the job!

Fun fact: Daffodils multiply underground. Each bulb produces new bulbs every year, which is why established clumps like this slowly turn into huge golden drifts over time.

If you’ve got bulbs putting on a show in your garden this spring, enjoy them...they’ve been quietly working on it since last year!
