Courts, council offices, libraries, leisure centres. The public estate is vast, much of it is aging, and all of it has to keep running while work happens around it.

OJM Insulations are specialists in thermal insulation on pipework and ductwork, fire stopping, and trace heating on exposed services. We plan work around opening hours, security requirements and the people using the building during the day.

Rooftop ductwork often has the toughest job in the building and gets the least attention.

At Worthing Magistrates Court, the existing external roof ductwork insulation had reached the end of its life. The OJM team stripped it back and re-insulated as necessary, giving the system a weathertight finish that will stand up to whatever the coast throws at it.

External ductwork takes sun, wind, rain and salt air all year round. When the insulation fails, the energy losses follow, and the ductwork underneath starts to suffer. Catching it in time costs a great deal less than replacing the duct.

Season finale time. The GB4 Championship heads to Brands Hatch this weekend for Round 7, and Holly Miall lines up for KMR Sport for one last time in 2026.

It is the full Grand Prix circuit too, so Paddock Hill Bend, the plunge through Di**le Dell and the long run out to Hawthorns all come into play. A proper place to close out a season.

Another one handed back, and a tidy one at that.

At Abbotsbury Primary School in Morden, the OJM team has installed insulation to the school's new cold water main pipework.

Not every insulation job is about keeping heat in. On cold water services it is about keeping condensation off, protecting the pipework and helping the water stay at the temperature it should be.

Done, checked and handed over to the school. Thank you to everyone on site for making it a smooth one.

The term has started, and so have we.

OJM Insulations is on site at Holy Family Catholic School in Walthamstow, insulating the pipework in the main boiler house and the first floor calorifier room.

These are the rooms that do the heavy lifting for a school's heating and hot water, and they work hardest from now until spring. Getting the pipework properly insulated before the cold sets in means less heat lost in the plantroom and more of it reaching the classrooms.

Works are progressing nicely, and the school will be warmer for it. 🍂

The GB4 Championship heads to Donington Park this weekend for Round 6, with Holly_Miall_Racing back out for KMR Sport.

This is the penultimate round of the season, so the pressure is on properly now. Donington packs a lot into a short lap: the drop down through the Craner Curves, the patience needed at the Old Hairpin, then a final sector that punishes any mistake made in the one before it.

The GB4 Championship reaches Snetterton this weekend for Round 5, with Holly Miall and the KMR Sport team back on the grid.

Snetterton is one of the faster circuits on the calendar. The long Bentley Straight, the fast Coram corner and the heavy braking into Murrays provide a demanding mix of speed and precision. With more rounds now behind her, Holly heads into the weekend with valuable seat time as the championship moves into its second half. 🏁
