Before & After transformation from a recent bedroom project completed in Medway.

A large amount of preparation went into this room before the final finish coats were applied — including extensive sanding, filling, caulking and detailed preparation to the existing woodwork and wardrobes.

Finished using Farrow & Ball colours throughout to create a softer, warmer and more refined finish across the room.

What’s everyone wearing these days for decorating overalls/work trousers?

I still use the basic bib & brace overalls from Toolstation because I prefer the old-school style over work trousers. They’re about £26.50 and do the job, plus the zip chest pocket is handy for my phone. Downsides are they shrink in the wash, stretch over time, and get too hot in summer.

I’m wondering if it’s worth spending more on better quality gear that lasts longer and keeps its shape better. I’ve been looking at Dapps, although they’re definitely pricier.

Interested to know:

* What brand are you using day to day?
* Bib & brace or work trousers?
* What are you paying?
* How’s the quality after months of decorating/washing?
* Any brands actually worth the extra money?

Would rather buy once properly if there’s something genuinely better out there.
