💡DID YOU KNOW💡

A consumer unit, also known as a fuse board, should be tested every 🔟years in privately owned homes, 5️⃣years in rental properties. You should also consider replacing it every 20 years, if it is not compliant with current regulations, or if there are unsafe findings on an EICR.

Here is a recent replacementCGS Electrical implemented. A huge improvement from the first photograph. Also, a new fuse board for an additional annex separately.

For any EICR’s, consumer unit replacements or any big or small remedial works, we would love to hear from you.

We take extra time and care when installing a new fuse board. Although the customer doesn’t get to see the inside and only ever sees the cover, we like to know and make sure things are done to a high standard.
