Why is aeration an important part of lawn care? Soil becomes compacted over time. This is caused by rainfall and foot traffic. It stops the grass from sending roots deep into the soil. It starves the beneficial soil micro biology of oxygen and stops water from draining away freely. Aeration relieves compaction and keeps the soil healthy. Healthy soil= healthy plants.

Why are w**ds around your property a problem? Weeds have a very strong root system that has the ability to grow in very small gaps and cracks in concrete, block paving and tarmac. Over time this loosens the material and begins to break it up. When temperatures drop and the moisture in the ground freezes and expands the gaps can widen and more w**ds will invade the area, and so the cycle continues until, in extreme cases a new driveway or even a wall is needed. Only professional quality products are used, not the garden center w**dkiller that needs three or four sprays to work and will probably cost more in the long run than getting a professional in to do the work for you.
