Removed and replaced the old, leaking bath screen. The leak was causing water damage to the surrounding area.

The source of the leak was rectified, and the affected wall was repaired and made good. 👌

Small repairs to this velux window situated in a bathroom.
With having no ventilation the condensation from the daily use had rotted the wooden corners.
So we removed the old rotten wood, new timber needed to be installed, filled and painted with a new waterproof coating. The landlord has also been advised to install new ventilation to prevent further issues from condensation.

After a long time in the making, we're excited to say that the boss and driving force behind Croft Common Construction will soon be leaving the day job to focus 100% on the business. It's a big and very exciting milestone for us and something Vince has been working towards for a long time.

So, what does this mean?

It means more availability, more flexibility, and the opportunity to take on bigger projects, while continuing to provide the same high standard of work our customers know us for.

As we make the transition to being full-time, the diary is opening up....BUT it's already starting to fill up quickly.

A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us so far, whether you've trusted us with your project, recommended us to others, shared and like posts we appreciate it all.

Removing the old bath and installing a brand-new thermostatic shower, shower tray, stunning marble paneling, and a sleek sliding shower enclosure.

The original bath installation was questionable, so some significant changes were needed. Within just two days, we completely stripped out the old setup and replaced it with a modern, high-quality shower that looks fantastic and functions perfectly.

🧱 Stone Wall Rebuild Project 🧱

This old stone retaining wall had unfortunately collapsed and needed a full rebuild. Because it was holding back the upper garden, we first reinforced the bank using rebar and concrete to make sure the structure was strong and secure for the long term.

Once the foundation was solid, we carefully rebuilt the wall using the original beautiful stonework and finished it off with fresh pointing to keep its traditional look while improving its strength and durability.

Another solid job completed 💪
