Both areas were surfaced with locally sourced gravel and installed by Abbey Surfacing, with the projects completed two years apart in 2024 and 2026.

DG Scott was brought in on a primary school project to resolve safety risks around external steps used daily by pupils, with full compliance being essential.

The complications:
• Elevated access at the top of a flood bank
• Standard systems leaving climbable gaps
• Mixed ground conditions affecting install
