It is a rest day in Northumberland between back-to-back Coast & Castles workshops. We've just said goodbye to our first group. We've had a lot of fun and some lovely conditions too. Hopefully the weather will behave for our second group, arriving in Bamburgh tomorrow!

We are lucky enough to get some lovely reviews following our workshops. This is a recent one we received after our dedicated ICM workshop with My_beautiful_scotland.

"The decision of Dawn 2 Dusk Photography to step outside of their traditional areas of mainly landscape and cityscape and organise an ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) workshop really paid off with the recent Moray Coast ICM Workshop.

The choice of Shona Perkins as lead was nothing if not inspired. Her obvious enthusiasm for the technique easily transmitted to the group. Tutorial sessions introduced the group to an approach to ICM that involved selective composition and specific movement to achieve a desired and predictable result. Indeed on picture review participants were encouraged to describe the intention and process behind their image.

On location, Shona was always on-hand to assist, encourage and challenge the group be totally aware and in control of their work.

As with all D2D workshops the attention to the participants work was total, with tutors only resorting to their own cameras to illustrate techniques and subjects. Taking pictures for themselves only when everyone was engrossed in their own work".
