I have a gorgeous pair French gilded armchairs. This just beginning of long restoration process. I’m trying to find out more about these chairs, their age, value.

The perfect match. Fabric meets the chair. Very happy with this project, frames were sturdy but everything else needed to be replaced. Wooden frames were yellow after many years, so I have to sand it down and restain it to match my fabric choice.

Very old pub chairs , reupholstered in latte velvet fabric. Some jobs can be challenging- wood frames were so dry that decorative nails went in to butter… So very often I advise not to use studs for very old furniture.

2 Italian sofas and 2 large armchairs restoration. Frames has been repainted in antique gold and rebuilt from ‘naked frame’, and by special request covered in cellophane.
