Another job completed over two parts! 🌿✂️

I started this one over the weekend, but the hedges proved a little too much for my hedge trimmer to handle, which unfortunately contributed to my recent mechanical issues.

A huge thank you to the customer for kindly letting me use their own trimmer to get the job finished. It was also pre-agreed that the customer would be disposing of the waste themselves, hence the cuttings you can see in the photos.

There were a lot of hedges, but we absolutely smashed it! 💪🌳 Finished off with three shrubs shaped and tidied up to complete the job.

I’m not taking on any new customers at the moment, but please feel free to get in touch for future work or to keep my details for when I’m back up and running.

Had this job in Frampton Cotterell booked in for a while, and it was a great one to get stuck into. 🌿

The work required no power tools, and I’d agreed with the customer beforehand that, due to the current mechanical issues I’ve been experiencing, I wouldn’t be taking the garden waste away.

A lovely shrub bed to work on, with plenty of pruning and shaping required. By opening things up and creating more space between the shrubs, we’ve allowed much more light into the bed while also helping to keep the plants healthy and well-shaped.

Sometimes a good hard prune is exactly what’s needed! ✂️🌱

For the time being, I’m not taking on any new work while I get the mechanical issues resolved. Once I’m back up and running properly, I’ll make an announcement and let you know when bookings are open again.

Hi all,

Unfortunately, due to some ongoing mechanical issues, I’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily pause taking on new quotes and future work.

I want to make sure that when I book a customer in, I can turn up as promised and deliver the standard of service I pride myself on. Unfortunately, I’ve had to make a number of cancellations throughout August, which has been incredibly frustrating for me and, more importantly, disappointing for my customers.

This is only a temporary pause while I get everything back up and running properly. I’m hoping to be back to quoting and carrying out work again in the not-too-distant future.

Thank you to everyone for your patience, understanding and continued support. It really is appreciated.

I’ll keep you all updated and look forward to getting back out there soon.

🌿 Jones Garden Services is back! 🌿

Well… not entirely! 😂

After taking July off for weddings and honeymoons, I’m finally back home - although I’ve returned to two broken cars and the small task of getting myself back on my feet! 😅

In the meantime, I thought I’d put the Jones Garden Services touch to the ultimate test… my own garden!

As you can see from the before photos, it had been seriously neglected. This is the first time this year that my garden has had any real attention, and it was definitely in need of some serious TLC.

A good few hours later:

🌱 Weeds removed and treated
🌿 Shrubs pruned
✂️ Grass strimmed
🌾 Lawn mowed and cuttings collected
✨ And, most importantly, a garden that’s looking loved again!

It’s always satisfying seeing the difference a bit of time, hard work and the right approach can make.

I’m now looking to take on new domestic and commercial clients throughout September and beyond, heading into the autumn and winter months.
