Autumn means ornamental grasses, and it doesn’t get better than this selection from No matter how big, shady or just plain weird your space is, we guarantee a grass will make it better. They’re a doddle to grow, and unbelievably drought-tolerant.

Every garden design includes a follow-up visit to see how things are doing and answer any questions. Here’s our recent lawn-to-pond transformation, as seen in July, and when we first planted it in April. Plus a bonus photo of how it looked when we were hired.

More pics from a happy client! Keep watching to see how the garden looked before we designed the planting. We added grasses for height, movement and subtle screening, flowers for pollinators, and a stunning multi-stem hawthorn from for the ultimate beautiful tree that’s great for wildlife. Chef’s kiss.

The many stages of building a garden, from uninspiring mudscape to freshly planted green retreat. The birds were already bathing in the pond as we planted it - amazing.
