A few clips from the asphalting days at the new Airdrie pump track 🪨

Asphalt is the premium material for pump tracks. We use asphalt to ensure a super smooth, fast rolling surface that all wheel types can enjoy.

This material also allows our skilled team to create a seamless riding surface, adding to the capacity of the track to withstand harsh weather whilst also creating an even, polished finish.

The Airdrie track will be opening soon...stay tuned for more details 🤙

Amazing work at MaxTrax putting together some great Learn to Ride sessions!

MaxTrax is going from strength to strength with all the great we’re doing for amazing people. This evenings LTR had a great turn. Ages 12+ saw people taking part in our confidence building ride session with TFGM our partner agency who are doing great coaching for the cycling community 🫶🏻

After the Kennoway pump track was built, Craig alongside other local parents, created a small volunteer group that has led to a thriving pump track community.

Craig has also taken ownership of the pump track’s social media, helping to expand the community further and encourage visitors!

We've been watching the sky closely at Richmond Bike Park, hoping for a bit of rain to help bed in the trails and set the shapes. And finally, the day has arrived. The whacker plates are out and the ear defenders are on!

Make sure to hit up your local trails for some hero dirt this weekend 🌧️ 🚵‍♀️

We've been on a mission to find the unsung heroes of Velosolutions pump tracks, and first up we have...

Iván from Chopwell Pump Track!

Not only did Iván initially help in getting the project off the ground and through planning, but he continues to foster the riding community as the lead of Ride Chopwell. This group has enabled the community to get the most out of their pump track and encourages new riders to the area.

What a couple of weeks it's been!

Busy times for the Velosolutions team, as we asphalted two pump tracks in Scotland, Twechar and Airdrie, alongside continuing our work at Richmond Bike Park.

We can't wait to see all these projects completed and share them with the riding community 🤩

But what is a pump track? 🤔

For us, a pump track is more than just a loop of asphalt with some red lines. More than just a few berms, rollers and tables...
