Another job completed recently.

This time, a bit of a different one — an after-hours ceiling skim at our local arcades🌙

Working around opening hours meant a late-night start, but we got the ceiling skimmed and finished with a smooth finish ready for the next stage.

The area was left clean and tidy, ready for business as usual the following day.

Finished living room 😁👍

A few photos of this living room now the job is complete. We shared some progress photos last week, so here’s the finished result after everything has been cleaned down and left neat and tidy.

We take pride not only in the finish of our work, but also in respecting your home whilst we are there — keeping things as clean and tidy as possible throughout the job and leaving the room ready for the next stage.

Sorry we’ve been a little quiet on here over the last few weeks.

As some of you may know, Charlie recently had to undergo emergency surgery to have his appendix removed. Thankfully, he’s recovering well and will be back to work in August!

Our diary is now back open, so if you have any plastering projects coming up, we’d love to hear from you.

Although we’ve been out of action, we’ve still managed to tick a few jobs off the list – including getting the van’s new signwriting done! 🚐

Please excuse our nosy Bedlington with his head out of the window! 😂🐶

A huge thank you to everyone for your patience, support and well wishes over the last few weeks. We can’t wait to get back out there!

🏠 Swipe through to see the progress photos on this loft renovation we’re currently working on.

This project is now fully boarded and ready for skimming, with the preparation work including:

✔ Kingspan insulation fitted
✔ Ceilings quilted and battened
✔ Timber framework installed to clear an existing RSJ
✔ Entire room boarded using fire-resistant plasterboard

A lot of the work on projects like this happens behind the scenes and often gets covered up, but it’s these stages that create the foundation for a high-quality finish.

Looking forward to sharing the completed transformation once the plastering is finished.
