This weeks job

We were tasked with creating new doors and draw fronts for a 70s fitted wardrobe.

Made out of MDF and Pine beading, so the customer can paint to suit the room style.

Back in Combs last week working on the eco office project!

This time we fitted the roof membrane and battens, getting everything ready for the steel roofing sheets.

Got it watertight just in time for winter to set in!

Here is the most recent job we carried out in Combs

The customer has built himself an outdoor office using eco friendly materials. We were contacted to help with fitting some out riggers to the roof frame and fit wood Fiber boards. The boards work both as insulating and providing a solid base to add a sheet metal roof.

Barney’s new home 🐢

Recent sub-contract job: the customer wanted a new bespoke enclosure for their tortoise, complete with a custom-built frame to hold all the lights in the right places. All made from ply and ready for finishing touches.

Before → During → After 🪚

A small add-on job for a customer today: repairing an exterior timber windowsill.

The sill had rotted, so I:

✔️ Cut out the damaged timber

✔️ Built a brand new sill from hardwood

✔️ Glued, screwed, and filled joints with two-part wood filler

✔️ Sanded the surface smooth

✔️ Painted with an oil-based undercoat and sealed with silicon, making it watertight

It’s now ready for a final coat of paint alongside the rest of the frame.

I stand by that no job is too big or small, from detailed joinery like this to larger garden structures and repairs, I always make sure the work is done properly.

🍂 Autumn-ready garden fix

One of my recent jobs was building this bespoke drain cover from tanalised decking boards, designed to match the customer’s existing decking.

Not only does it blend in neatly, but it also keeps falling leaves and debris from blocking the drain as we head into the wetter months.
