Liquid waterproofing in the heart of Manchester.

Work continues on the lower roof at Rylands, Manchester, where the WIDOPAN-FD 2K liquid waterproofing system is being used to seamlessly waterproof the 4,000m² roof as part of this large commercial redevelopment project.

How do you waterproof a failed zinc roof with minimal disruption to the school below?

That was the challenge on this recent 220m² school roof project, where poorly seamed zinc sheets had resulted in severe water ingress and a roof that had reached the end of its life.

The solution was WIDOSEAL-LF 1K, WIDOPAN’s single-component, solvent-free liquid waterproofing system.

Some waterproofing jobs are more awkward than others.

Long, narrow gutters. Restricted access. Multiple joints, complex junctions and plenty of potential weak points for water ingress.

A great example of how liquid waterproofing can extend the life of an existing roof while avoiding the cost, waste and disruption of a complete roof replacement.

Working on behalf of a private residential client, TAF Contractors Ltd transformed this ageing swimming pool roof using the WIDOPAN-FD 2K Polyester Waterproofing System.

Expert attention to detail was applied around the rooflight, perimeter upstands and rainwater outlets and gutters, areas that can be particularly challenging to make watertight using conventional roofing methods, ensuring these critical detail areas were fully sealed and protected.

The completed installation delivered a seamless, durable and flexible waterproofing membrane, backed by our manufacturer’s guarantee of up to 25 years.
