150 year old listed wall collapsed in Carlisle. We had to clean, re use the bricks and rebuild in Lime mortar. No cement at all. Looks like it used to and customer is over the moon.

Hi guys. After a long few months and long days working at Cafe Central Carlisle. 34, Central Avenue. Post Office, Cafe and Takeaway. I am pleased to say we brought this project together under budget and on time.
We are now available for all your building/ renovation works. We specialise in New builds, renovations, extensions, traditional 2, coat float and skim plastering, traditional external renders including Cumbrian hand spread wet dash (no machines just humans).
Tiling, landscaping and we are also recommended Sovereign approved damp proof contractors to treat damp and timber issues.

Very happy and proud to have been the main contractor in the re development of 34 Central avenue to bring you all Cafe Central Along with a new re branded Post Office Plus. All done under a tight schedule of 4 weeks. Just a few pictures of how it went. A massive thank you to all the team.

Traditional Cumbrian roughcasting (wet dashing) hand applied. None of your machine spraying.
Dying art.
Finishing touches to a 70, metre long, 2, metre high drive entrance to a new build that we plastered in just 4, weeks.

Remedial wall tie replacement and dry dash with perm gold on white sand/cement backing coat.

Knock off old render, removal of old, rusted butterfly wall ties that were causing mortar fractures and cracking of old dash. Wall tie replacement using stainless steel mechanical tie. Re render and dry dash using perm gold on white sand/cement cast coat.
Job done and customer so happy we are now contracted to dash the bottom half. Busy days with my men Chris Palmer and Neil Gee.

Just finished today in time for back to school. Project in the newly refurbished food service restaurant of Trinity School. Prep, plastering and tiling in 3D effect tiles with a metallic look. Enjoy your dining guys.
