Client planning for next year.

I transferred the plants to a temporary home until later in year when they will be placed in a border.

Cephalaria gigantea (giant scabious) is very easy to grow. It is a tough, low-maintenance perennial that handles neglect well, resists most pests and diseases, and thrives in a wide range of standard garden soils.

Have you thought of pruning your Lavender?

Late Summer (August–September): The main time to prune is after flowering finishes. This lets the plant grow a bit of new foliage to harden off before winter.

Avoid Winter/Late Autumn: Never prune between October and February in the UK, as frost can rot freshly cut, tender stems.

Spring (March–April): If you missed the summer prune, you can give it a very light tidy-up now, but avoid heavy cutting.

Today I went prepared to prune as requested by my client a Cotinus.

We discussed raising the canopy and the finished height.

Today my client called me Stacey….🙂😉. A satisfying sort out with more to do.

It’s not just about the plants.

Unfortunately I didn’t take photos from the beginning.

Numerous pots and compost gathered together.

Bags of a few seasons old potatoes dealt with, old tubular metal frame greenhouse, patio table cover, broken odds and ends sorted.

To keep a box of plastic pots plus another for ceramic ones.

A box of odds and end watering bits.

A clear table top to work on.

Followed by items client confirmed were immediate black bin.

Finally the tip pile ❤️
