We’re looking for an experienced freelance bid/tender writer who already works with housing associations and local authorities.

👉 This is NOT a training role — we need someone who knows how to win work.

We’re a growing roofing contractor (NFRC, CORC, Permaroof / Firestone approved) with a strong pipeline of opportunities ready to go.

📍 Brackley Residents – Quick Roofing Tip

We were called out to a property recently with a persistent roof leak during heavy rain.

After investigating, the issue turned out to be a false chimney. These are often purely decorative, and once the flashing or detailing starts to fail they can allow water straight into the roof.

In this case the best solution was to remove the false chimney completely and reinstate the roof covering properly.

Once removed we:
• Checked the roof structure
• Installed new breathable membrane where required
• Reinstated battens
• Re-laid and replaced slates where needed

The roof is now fully watertight again.

False chimneys are a very common cause of leaks, so if you notice damp patches after heavy rain or issues around a chimney it’s worth getting it checked sooner rather than later.

Even with the bad weather trying its best to slow us down, the team pushed on and we’ve already got two more roofs started 💪🌧️
